Many of the horses that go through the Throwaway Ponies program often need to go throught "horse rehab". Certain horses must be put on special diets to reach a proper weight, some have injuries that must be treated, and other horses may come to us with several other ailments. 






Every horse's recovery time is different. Most of our horses make complete recoveries, but there are some that will always be lame or injured. If they can gain a clean bill of health, they may be put up for adoption while others go through training so they may find a suitable forever home.
