Jinger is a small grade quarter pony who came to Throwaway Ponies after being abandoned and seriously injured in October of 2009. Jinger had been attacked by wild dogs that pinned her down and were literally eating her alive! She suffered from a huge hole in her side that went deep into her ribcage. Her neck was also badly wounded, and her ear was hanging off her head when she was finally rescued by a member of the Rockwall Sheriff's Posse. He gave Jinger some much needed TLC and doctored her wounds daily. Jinger is recovering more every day and has almost made a complete recovery in a mere 2.5 months. Now Jinger merely has small scars and scrapes where she once had terrible lacerations. We are waiting for her side wound to heal a little more before we can see if she is trained or ridable, for the injury is right where a girth would go. She is a very sweet mare who needs someone to love and care for her. She is very docile and surprisingly has no fear of any of the dogs that reside with her at the TaPs facility.
