You Can Help Us Save Lives *Throwaway Ponies* is an all-volunteer organization operating solely on tax-deductible donations. You can help: 1. BY REFERING PEOPLE Riders. We offer horse therapy to anyone who has suf-fered emotional, physical or sexual abuse and neglect. Therapists. We contract with licensed therapists to pro-vide Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) to our riders. Volunteers. We need rider spotters, assistance with the care and grooming of the horses, and everything else. 2. BY PROVIDING RESOURCES Horse Sponsorship. We supply complete care—feed, hay, shelter, veterinary, fierier and training at an annual cost of $900 per horse. Donation of goods are also appreciated. Monthly Sponsorship: $75 Complete Care $50 Feed & Hay $25 Maintenance Annual Sponsorship: $50 Annual Vet Exam/Coggins Emergency Fund: As Desired One Time Gifts Appreciated! 3. BY SPONSORING A RIDER Many of our riders are from broken families where financial resources are not available. Rider Sponsorship. Riders participate in 10 - week classes. You can sponsor a rider for $250 per session or on a bi-monthly basis. EAP is $100/class and the therapist is paid. No other staff members are paid. Throwaway Ponies has an IRS non-profit 501(C)3 status, able to take tax-decutable donations to help fulfull the mission that drives our passion. Please consider making a donation today!
