Adoption Fees

Adoption fees vary depending on the horse's level of training and age. There is a minimum charge of $150 for any horse. "Virtual Adoption" is when the horse stays at Throwaway Ponies, but the new "owner" or sponsor pays for the horse's care. The adoptive person or family will be listed under the horse's photo on the website and posted at the Throwaway Ponies' barn. Photos of the horse will be sent to the sponsor. There are various levels of adoption: Complete Care $75/month Feed & Hay is $50/month One time sponsorship such as Coggins or farrier is $30
